About Us

Cut Twice is an experimental textile studio based in midtown Toronto. We are soft launching in July 2026, with a hard launch projected for September. Stop in for a tour any time during our open hours.

Our mandate is to encourage learning and experimentation, and to support early-career fashion designers by enabling low-barrier access to diverse machinery and knowledge.

The studio was launched by Katie Switzer, sewing nerd, machine collector, and founder of made-in-Toronto denim brand Form Era Studio.
