Our 5-thread serger is a heavy duty industrial serger, with a variable top feed. It is great at sewing thick and bulky fabric seams. It serges a 3/8" finished edge. It can be set up to have either 3 or 5 threads. This machine uses DCx27 needles.

First booking comes with a mandatory machine tutorial (15 mins) and afterwards use is independent. 

Rental of this machine can be bundled with others for a lower hourly rate.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cancellation policy?

Orders can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance, for a full refund. Cancellations after this period will be charged the booking deposit fee (paid at time of booking) but will be refunded the Damage Deposit.

What happens if I show up to my booking and someone else is using the machine I want?

Bookings are machine-specific, so your booking guarantees you access to the machinery in your order.
Can I bring a friend?

Yes, but they will have to sign our Liability Waiver before using any machinery.

Do you offer storage?

Storage options will be available in September.
Are needles and thread provided?

We provide a limited selection of needles and thread. For specialty projects, please bring your own needles and thread. Needle systems are indicated on all machine pages.
